Tyler's 1st Flag Football Game

Tyler had his 1st Flag Football game last night at 7:00. There was a little sun left, but we were on the far field with the most shade, and it was chilly!

The view from the ball fields is gorgeous! (Then again, most views in Utah county are.) When the sun went down, we had a huge, full moon just over the mountains - we couldn't get a good picture for you because of the bright field lights - but trust me, it was beautiful.

Tyler is easy to find in these pictures. He's wearing a bright blue and orange stocking cap and his favorite, most comfortable tan pants (which he is in total denial about them getting too small). Tyler is more concerned about function than fashion...

Nobody was keeping score, but Tyler's team won! Tyler said he had a lot of fun!

Tyler Loves Birds (In case you didn't already know)

Tyler loves to visit the aviary in Salt Lake. Papa Larry took him this summer and let him try his hand at bird photography. Tyler has been begging me to help him put his pictures into a layout. So, we sat down this weekend and put one together. Tyler new just what he wanted and did the journaling by himself. He's anxious to do another project in Photoshop, and is asking for a high-quality (very expensive) camera to take more bird pictures. Keep watching. Maybe one day you'll see his work in National Geographic or one of the birding magazines...

I've actually scrapped birthday pictures in the same year as the birthdays! We don't have any pictures from my birthday, and we took pictures on Tyler's birthday, but they were deleted from the camera before they were saved to the computer...Digital is great, except when you lose stuff. (But, digital scrapbooking is the best!)
